My friends know am a junkie for beauty products. I am that stupid shopper who will walk up to a counter look around and basically get sold anything. You can sell me kangaroo fat and I can buy it. My dream is to walk into a beauty store, a para pharmacy, and walk out with bags of products that I can forever try and try. My morning and evening routines have become so long that I basically do not leave the house anymore. Well that was a joke. La Roche Posay Redermic R: Basically this is one thing I did not buy myself for myself. It was on a prescription basis (and please buy it only if prescribed, or ask your dermatologist if it works for you) but Oh God it is like baptism for the skin. It literally scraps off those annoying dead – colorless layers. And whatever comes on top just makes it shine even more. By the way I use it three nights a week only. Available in all pharmacies.
Caudalie Vinexpert Fluide Bonne Mine: My family owns a pharmacy and recently I was given a small sample of this product. When I travel, I really just take my essentials in terms of makeup because I know am not gonna go all insane and try my luck with smokey eyes while vacationing in Dubrovnik. So I pack samples. And this felt like my face’s fiancé. It lit it up. Such a good feel. Such great and light texture for the summer. It really has amazing particles that makes your skin glow and give it radiance. Also sold in pharmacies or in beauty stores like Parashop.
Dali Nailpolish in 209 : Every summer I have this huge dilemma of finding the perfect shade that is a balance between the perfect red and the ultimate fuchsia. I hate neons. I don’t do them. I can not stand red that goes brownish after two days. And I hate the red fuchsia mixture that is edgy and vulgar. This shade from DALI answers none of these. Terracota Joli Teint in Natural – Guerlain Spring Summer 2014 Makeup: Ever since I was a little girl my mother had taught me that nothing beats the bronzing wonders of Guerlain’s Terracota. And I grew up with that. I admit I tried Chanel, Bobbi Brown, Clinique, and all that in between. But I always came back to Terracota. Now I will leave the bronzer for a post on its own however, recently for the past few years, Guerlain Terracota has been introducing a cream (day cream/ foundation/ feel good cream… you name it) every season with it’s spring summer collection and this is by no surprise the best. Garnier Ultimate Beauty Oil: I bought this during my last trip to London. It is value for the change you have left out in your pockets. Something like GBP 3.99. But what it does to my skin feels like I need a credit card. It leaves you feeling super soft and silky. Smells gorgeously. Not sticky. Light weight (perfect for summer). And it looks and feels marvelous on newly tanned skin.
